Alowis Sambuca is a high-quality liqueur based on fresh star anise from the Mediterranean region. A maceration of at least one month takes place to capture the most essential oils of the star anise. The whole is then distilled twice to concentrate and enhance the pure taste. The transparent color is a result of this distillation. When making Alowis Sambuca, extra star anise is placed in the aroma basket of the pot still.
Sambuca is mainly drunk pure, ice cold. Either alongside a coffee or separately as a degustation. Yet Alowis Sambuca also indulges in cocktail.
